Assistance for koi needing a new home

WELCOME
The purpose of the LSKC Society will be to promote, create and enlarge the hobby of Koi keeping, breeding, appreciating and exhibiting Koi; to disseminate information about the above to the membership; to engage in educational and social activities related to our purposes.

The Lone Star Koi Club is the Houston, Texas affiliate of the Associated Koi Clubs of America. Our nonprofit organization meets monthly on the Third Sunday, in the afternoon at members' homes and enjoys lectures, education, sharing of ideas, and friendship. In addition we hold clinics, shows, and tours. Please feel free to attend our meetings and join our club.

An application for membership can be found on the Membership page of our Web Site. Any person who has an interest in Koi culture shall be eligible for membership. Upon application and payment of dues the application will be presented to the membership present at any regular or special meeting to which the membership of the Society has been given proper notice and upon majority vote the applicant will become a member of the Society in good standing.

Our club is also an advocate for the AKCA Project KHV which is raising funds and awareness for the fight against Koi Herpes Virus. Learn more and/or make a donation.

Lone Star Koi Club is a proud member of the AKCA and TAPS.
